2024 Top 10s / WILD WKND Fanzine
I made two small fanzines that you can buy here. The first is a half sized zine that documents old venues in San Diego that hosted Punk shows. The second is a quarter sized zine that’s a ridiculous tribute to the pro wrestler Bad News Allen/Brown. You can read the Dead Clubs one here and the Bad News one here, and then decide if they’re worth your $3 and $1.38, respectively.
The WILD WKND moniker is a reference to the 2nd, and best, 7” by The Zeros - San Diego County’s OG Punk band. Shoutout Chula Vista. I’ll have a big full sized zine coming out in the next month or so about the year 2024 in San Diego, so keep an eye peeled for that. I also have plans to repress the Nardcore - 1981 to Infinity fanzine as a full sized zine with some added stuff sometime next year.

I’m not above EOY fever myself and admittedly love lists. 185 Miles South has our 4th annual awards show episode coming out this Monday and the 2024 Super 7 episode will come out on Dec 30th, where we talk the best Hardcore and Punk songs of 2024. I thought I might as well give my personal top 10 lists here on the blog as well.
